may our buried treasure remain.
Make my pleasures small but frequent,
make my debit orders late.
Let my credit card go through,
make the rewards worth the wait.
Bestow upon us green lawns and high fences.
Give us this day our weekly latte.
May the bread be eaten while it is fresh;
may the discount veggies be crisp.
Send unto us Low Monthly Installments.
Keep us just below the next tax bracket.
Let our invoices be paid, let our children be unscathed.
May we find a god that cares. Amen.
